Man! I had a blast with Chris and Amy this last weekend. We went down to Lake Texoma to celebrate Chris' 30th birthday. The highlight of the entire weekend though was when we went down to Texas Motor Speedway to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Check this out! For his bday Chris got to drive a stock car around TMS for 8 laps! I think he topped out at 138 mph. Wow! I was so happy for him. Just when things couldn't get any better, Chris' mom, Bernice, bought myself and his two brothers ride alongs. That's right! Yours truly suited up, hopped in (through the window), and went three laps with a professional driver at 160 mph! Wooooohooooo! That's livin right there! When he (the driver) took us down into the first turn my brain told me that this car at these speeds "should" travel up the track hitting the wall, but contrary to physics the car stuck! It was soooooo awesome!

It's official! Shelby wants to be a race car driver! Hehe.

Hey just thought I'd stop in for a sec to update. Not much going on right this minute. I finished up school last Friday. I'm taking a break from classes this summer. I'm so looking forward to it. It should give me a chance to focus on the youth group in Chickasha. I got a speeding ticket the other day. Never a good thing. I don't have $130 to give to the town of Dibble (south of Norman and to the east of Chickasha). Oh well.

So yeah, today wasn't a totally bad day or anything. Didn't anything done on my paper that's due at the end of this week (was actually supposed to be turned in last week). Ain't procrastination grand!

I went to a memorial service this morning. It made me think of mom.  Then I made the journey to Chickasha for youth. I bought tickets for the Bedlam game between OSU and OU at the Bricktown Ballpark next month. I'm taking the Chi Rho and CYF. Should be a good time. I had to put it on my personal credit card cause we just don't have enough money in our youth account. $270!!!!!!!! Oh well, I'll get the church to pay me back. They're pretty good seats.

Alright, I'm off to bed. I absolutely have to finish my paper tomorrow. Yay! Talk to ya later.

I guess that means I have to tell you about six weird habits of mine... hmmm... I'm not weird... am I? If you get tagged you gotta do the same. Don't mess it up!

1) I am a habitual procrastinator. Try as I may I just cannot seem to get things done on time.

2) I can't stay still. Ya see I have this nervous tick tick tick tick tick...

3) When I read (which I dislike very much) I read out loud. This isn't weird in itself, but the thing is I don't like the sound of my voice, so when I read I read as Sean Connery.

4) Kinda gross, but I hate it when my fingernails get long, so I am constantly cutting them. I know you didn't want to hear that, sorry.

5) I am a catalog junkie. I never order anything, but I love to look at the pretty pictures.

6) Last but certainly not least, I'm absolutely obsessed with... wait for it... God! Not so weird, but in this day and age of "me, me, me" it's becoming more and more unique.
